Results and discussion

Effect concentrations
Duration:
30 min
Dose descriptor:
EC50
Effect conc.:
> 200 mg/L
Nominal / measured:
nominal
Conc. based on:
act. ingr.
Basis for effect:
inhibition of total respiration
Remarks:
respiration rate
Details on results:
An increase rather than an inhibition of respiration was observed at the test concentration of 1000 mg/L. The test substance is an aqueous solution with about 20 - 30% active incredient. Based on the active incredient and as a conservative approach, the 16h EC10 is determined at >200 mg/L.
Results with reference substance (positive control):
- EC20 = ca. 1.5 mg/L
- EC50 = ca. 6.5 mg/L
