Additional information

A valid study on the acute toxicity of allyl hexanoate to aquatic freshwater invertebrates (Daphnia magna) was conducted in accordance with OECD TG 202 in closed vessels over a period of 48 hours. The nominal test concentrations were confirmed by TOC analysis and were found to be sufficiently maintained over the test period. It was found that 100% of the daphnids were immobilised at a test concentration of 4 mg/L. No effects were observed at a test concentration of 1 mg/L. The EC50 value was calculated as the geometric mean of the EC0 and EC100 and was 2 mg/L.
