Additional information

A Guideline study in compliance with a recognised quality system or by laboratories complying with a relevant recognised standard, such as EN ISO/IEC 17025 was conducted according to the recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria and in accordance to EC-Guideline 92/69/EWG, Annes A.14.

Test 1 (b) or 2 (b) (when asked about classification in class 1) or E.1 (when asked about classification in class 4.1) resulted

The limit diameter, i.e. the largest nozzle diameter, at the explosion occurs: <1.0 mm

Evaluation for the classification of the sample according to class 4.1 in the sense of test E.1: The test substance shows no ("no") effect when heated under defined inclusion.

Evaluation for the classification of the sample according to class 1 in the sense of test 1 (b): The test substance shows no effect ("-") when heated under defined inclusion.

Evaluation for the classification of the sample according to class 1 in the sense of test 2 (b): The test substance shows no violent effect ("-") when heated under defined inclusion. 1)

Test F3: BAM Trauzl Test resulted thatthe substance has no explosive power.

Test II C.2 resulted that no progressive decomposition was observed. In the sense of the cited test method , the question of deflagration ability should be answered with "no" if the deflagration speed is less than 0.35 mm/s.

The test acoording to EC-Guideline 92/69/EWG, Annes A 14 resulted that the substance showed no results for sensitivity to impact and friction.

Justification for classification or non-classification

In accordance with Annex I, Section 2.1 of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and UN GHS Rev 6 (2015) the substance has not to be classified as explosive in class 1.
