The test material has been determined to melt with decomposition (166 +/- 0.5 deg C), the study was undertaken according to OECD guideline 102.

The test item has been determined to melt with decomposition from 166 ± 0.5 °C (439 ± 0.5 K) by differential scanning calorimetry using ASTM E537-86, designed to be compatible with Method A1 Melting/Freezing Temperature of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008, Method 102 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995 and Method 830.7200 of the OPPTS Guidelines.
