Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The oxidising properties have been predicted negative, based on the chemical structure of the test material, using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A17 Oxidising Properties (solids) of Commission Regulation (EC No 440/2008 of 30th May 2008.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

The structure of the test item was assessed for chemical groups that would imply oxidizing properties. Examples of such groups are nitrates, metal oxides, hypofluorites, difluoroaminopolynitroaryls, perchlorates, bromates and iodites.

If there are no structural alerts within the structure then the oxidizing properties can be predicted negative.

The structure was assessed and no functional groups were observed which may be associated with oxidising properties and due to this, no further testing is required.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The oxidising properties have been predicted negative, based on the chemical structure of the test material, using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A17 Oxidising Properties (solids) of Commission Regulation (EC No 440/2008 of 30th May 2008.

The structure was assessed and no functional groups were observed which may be associated with oxidising properties and due to this, no further testing is required and the test material is not classified for oxidising properties.
