Description of key information

3 hour Effect Concentration 50% (3h EC50) and No Observed Effect Concentration (NOEC): >=1000 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The test substance caused no significant inhibition of activated sludge respiration at test concentrations exceeding saturation, including the highest concentration of 1,000 mg/L (nominal) over a 3 hour exposure period following OECD Guideline 209. Therefore, the EC50 and NOEC are >=1,000 mg/L (RCC, 1998).
