Additional information

The density of the reaction mass of L-alanyl-L-glutamine and potassium chloride is 1.628 g/cm³ at 20 °C. From this value a relative density of 1.628 at 20°C can be calculated.

The constituent L-alanyl-L-glutamine has a measured relative density of 1.36 (GLP report 2008-0164-DGP) and the other constituent potassium chloride a literature value of 1.984 (Kirk-Othmer handbook). A value calculated for the reaction mass of L-alanyl-L-glutamine taking into account the composition of the reaction mass predicts a relative density of approx. 1.575 at 20 °C.
