PRELIMINARY TEST WITH TGA

No significant weight loss was observed up to approximately 350°C. At 550°C, the sample weight had decreased by 6.8%. After the experiment, a light grey residue remained in the sample container.

 

DSC EXPERIMENTS

No effects were observed up to 400°C which were due to melting of the test substance. After the experiment, an off-white residue remained in the sample container. The change of the colour indicated slightly reaction and/or decomposition of the test substance.

Conclusions:
No melting up to 400°C was observed for the substance using differential scanning calorimetry (GLP-compliant study in accordance with EC A.1, OECD 102 and EPA OPPTS 830.7200). Decomposition of the substance started at 350°C. The substance has no melting temperature.
