Description of key information

The test substance was found to be toxic to Daphnia magna after 21 days of 1.3 mg/L. A NOEC of 0.93 mg/L is derived from results.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC10, LC10 or NOEC for freshwater invertebrates:
0.93 mg/L

Additional information

The study was performed according to OECD Guideline 211.Mortality and reproduction were monitored at different intervals. The results after 21 days were LC50 (mortality)=2.4 mg/L and EC50 (reproduction)=1.3 mg/L which resulted into a NOEC of 0.93 mg/L (21days, basis for effect reproduction). The lowest value is the one taken for assessment.
