Administrative data
First-aid measures
Swallowing: Drink small sips (Diluting effect). Do not give milk, oily products, fat or alcohol. Give medicinal activated charcoal 10 g in 100 mL water at 20 minute intervals (5 x).
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air
Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Wash thoroughly with warm water using a mild soap.
Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with water and continue washing for at least 15 minutes.
Fire-fighting measures
Hazardous combustion products: Formation of flammable vapours after hydrolysis.
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Suitable extinguishing media: Water; Dry powder (BC powder); Alcohol resistant foam; Carbon dioxide.
Unusual fire and explosion hazards: In case of a fire aside from the major combustion products carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide other harmful gases and vapours may be formed.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Provide sufficient ventilation
Environmental precautions: Disposal (refer to section Disposal Considerations). Prevent from entering sewage system, surface water or soil.
Methods for cleaning up large quantities: Dike spilled product with liquid absorbing material and pump off.
Methods for cleaning up small quantities: Soak up with liquid absorbing material (sand etc.) and dispose of as instructed.
Handling and storage
Handling precautions: Use only in well ventilated areas. Keep container tightly closed.
