Description of key information

Strong bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms is unlikely based on the partition coefficient (logPow) of 22.17 and supporting information given by the QSAR prediction with BCFBAF v3.01 (Chemservice S.A., 2012c). For a logPow < 4.5 and > 6, no strong bioaccumulation is expected. Furthermore, an expert statement by Sanitised (2012) reveals that no accumulation in aquatic biota is expected for calcium sulfonates as well.Information concerning terrestrial bioaccumulation is not required under REACH.
