Description of key information

Based on data for its four main components, the vapour pressure of the substance EC number 905-559-2 (reaction mass of 4-vinylcyclohexene and cyclohexane and n-hexane and toluene) is expected to be in the range 1.8 kPa to 21 kPa at 21°C to 25°C.

However, individual data on the four main components of the reaction mass is available from Zwolinsk et al (2008 a, b and c) for n-hexane (CAS No. 110-54-3) (vapour pressure 20.2.kPa at 25˚C), cyclohexane (CAS No. 110-82-7) (vapour pressure 12.4 kPa at 24˚C), toluene (CAS No. 108-88-3) (vapour pressure 3.08.kPa at 21˚C) and from Lide (2008d) for 4-vinylcyclohexene (CAS No. 100-40-3) (vapour pressure 1.87 kPa at 25˚C). This data is considered reliable and suitable for use.
