Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Study meets the criteria for Klimisch code 2 (reliabile with restrictions) because it followed an internationally recognised method (OECD Guideline 203) and was carried out to Good Laboratory Practice. However, there was no analytical confirmation of the test concentrations. In addition, there was a possible deviation in the salinity of the dilution water, however, Sheepshead minnows naturally occur at salinities of 34 °/oo. Therefore, it was not considered to affect the outcome of the study.

Additional information

The LC50 in freshwater fish is considered to be >1000mg/l and >10000 mg/l with marine species. The

substance is, therefore, considered not toxic to freshwater or marine fish species. Nevertheless, adequate

controls will be in place during production and use to ensure that the substance is not released to the

environment.
