Three tests were performed, each in triplicate, varying the amount of lactic acid solution that was introduced into the auto-ignition chamber. The reported auto-ignition temperature is the lowest temperature at which auto-ignition was recorded (rounded).

Commercially available auto-ignition temperatures apparatus was used for the determination of the degree of auto-ignitability of Latic Acid 93% aq.
