Prior to the measurements of the kinematic viscosity of the mixture DS liquid, the equipment was controlled by measuring the kinematic of ultrapure water at 20 and 40°C. Difference between the Theoretical kinematic viscosity, mm²/s and the Measured kinematic viscosity, mm2 /s were -0.89% and -0.15% at 20°C and 40 °C respectively.

Conclusions:
The kinematic viscosity of the test item at 20°C and 40°C were 1.26 and 0.85 mm²/s respectively.
The determination of the kinematic viscosity were performed using calibrated glass capillary viscometer.
Executive summary:

The kinematic viscosity was determined by measuring the time for a volume of liquid to flow under gravity through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer according to the OECD method (N°114) at 20°C and 40°C.

The kinematic viscosity of the test item at 20°C and 40°C were 1.26 and 0.85 mm²/s respectively.

Description of key information

One reliable Key study is available. The kinematic viscosity was determined by measuring the time for a volume of liquid to flow under gravity through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer according to the OECD method (N°114) at 20°C and 40°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
