- The biodegradation of the substance reached the value of > 60 % degradation within 28 d but failed the 10 day criterium. Therefore it is considered for classification as not readily biodegradable.

For the numerical evaluation and calculation of the BOD5 of the test substance, the mixture rule was tested. The correlation coefficient is 0.93 below the prescribed limit (> 0.995).
The difference between the measured (0.99) and the calculated oxygen consumption using the regression equation of the dilution water (0.97) is <0.1 mg / l.
The correlation coefficient shows that the series of measurements and can not be evaluated numerically. Therefore the BSB5 was estimated.

Description of key information
Based on the results of the biodegradation test and the determination od BOD5 and COD the substance is biodegradable but not readily biodegradable.
