Additional information

The acute toxicity to Cyprinus carpio was determined in a 96-hour semi-static test according to OECD Guideline 203 (RCC Notox BV, 1993f). The test was performed in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice Regulations.

The test item was not soluble in water. Hence, a dispersing agent, Cremophor RH40, was used to prepare stable dispersions of the test item in water.

Under the test conditions, the test item induced significant acute lethal effects at measured concentrations of 0.1 mg/L and higher resulting in a 96 hour LC50 value for carp between 0.1 mg/L (20 % mortality) and 0.3 mg/L (100 % mortality).
