Short-term toxicity to fish

In a static non GLP short-term toxicity to fish test according to DIN 38 412 – L15 guideline (equivalent to OECD 203), the 96-hour LC50 of the test substance for Leusciscus idus (Golden Orfe) was determined to be nominal in the range of 100 to 220 mg/L.

Long-term toxicity to fish

No data available

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

In a key static immobilization test, young Daphnia magna (< 24 h old) were exposed to the surrogate test substance 3-aminopropyldiethylamine for 48 hours according to ISO 6341 15 (Water quality - Determination of the Inhibition of the Mobility of Daphnia magna Straus (Cladocera, Crustacea). The EC50 was determined to be 30.16 mg/L.

Long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria

In a key static growth inhibition test, the fresh algae Pseudokirchnerella subcapitata was exposed over 72 hours to the surrogate test substance 3-aminopropyldiethylamine according to the OECD guideline 201 and under GLP conditions. The 72h-ErC50 and the 72h-NOEC were determined to be 34 and 19.53 mg/L, respectively. The 72h-ErC10 was determined to be 26 mg/L. The validity criteria of the study were fulfilled

Toxicity to microorganisms

In a growth inhibition test, Pseudomonas putida were exposed over 7 hours to the test substance according to DIN 38412 (Part 8). The EC10 was determined to be nominal 111.7 mg/L and the EC50 was determined to be also nominal 203.4 mg/L.
