Conclusion on classification

The substance was found to be readily biodegradable without meeting the 10-day window criteria. No chronic ecotoxicology tests were performed on the substance. The most sensitive acute toxicity test was found to be the acute toxicity to algae, which gave an EC50of 10.3 mg/l. The substance is classified as Aquatic Chronic 3, in accordance with EU CLP criteria.
