Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined to be below 9.6x10 -4 Pa at 25°C (and inferred at 20°C =< 9.6x10-4 Pa)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.001 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined according to SOP:115.02, Issue 2 “vapour pressure by gas saturation” using gas saturation apparatus. The analyte quantitation was carried out post gas saturation by HPLC. Since no analyte was detected above the LOQ, as a result, the “worst case” scenario has been quoted as the result, which gave the largest, calculated vapour pressure data (due to it having the slowest gas flow rate). In conclusion, on the assumption that these gas flow rates would have achieved gas saturation of the analyte and that the analyte was stable in solution for the duration of the analysis, the vapour pressure of the test item was determined to be below 9.6x10 -4 Pa at 25°C (and inferred at 20°C =< 9.6x10-4 Pa)
