Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the short term toxicity to plants study does not need to be conducted as direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. The test substance is not supposed to be directly applied to soil and an indirect exposure to soil via sewage sludge transfer is unlikely since the substance is readily biodegradable. The substance shows a low adsorptive (log Koc = -1.06 , QSAR calculation: EPISuite KOCWin vs. 2.0 based on measured Log KoW : 2.12) as well as a bioaccumulative (log Kow = -2.12) potential. Hence, a relevant distribution into soil and a considerable exposure of terrestrial plants is not expected.
