Conclusions:
Half life period of 5-aminonaphthalene-2-sulphonic acid in Soil was observed to be 75 days which does not exceed the threshold of 120 days as mentioned in Annex XIII of the REACH regulation. Based on these half life values it is concluded that 5-aminonaphthalene-2-sulphonic acid is readily biodegradable (non-persistent) in soil.
