Waiving argument

According to Annex IX, column 2 of REACh, the study does not need to be conducted as the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation (log Kow <3). Nevertheless, QSAR results are available confirming the low bioaccumulation potential.

Supporting QSAR-model predictions

Based on model estimates using OASIS Catalogic v5.11.13 (BCF base-line model v.02.07) and EPISuite v4.11 (BCFBAF v3.01: Meylan-model) the predicted BCF is below 100 indicating low bioaccumulation potential:

The results of the two independent calculation model shows good consistence and supports the waiving argument. Based on the results it was concluded that accumulation in organisms is not to be expected.
