Additional information

Adsorption / desorption:

The soil adsorption coefficient was estimated for Alcohols, C9 -11-iso, C10-rich using a log Kow method and the measured log Kow. Alcohols, C9 -11-iso, C10-rich Koc =413 (Log Koc = 2.62).

Distribution:

The Mackay Level III equilibrium model estimates that isodecanol will partition largely to the soil compartment (approximately 72%), followed by the water (approximately 26%), air (approximately 2%), and sediment (<1%) compartments, based on all available measured data.

Henry's Law Constant:

Henry's Law constant for Alcohols, C9 -11-iso, C10-rich, 7.74 Pa.m3/mole at 20 degrees C, indicates that volatilization from water is not expected to occur at a rapid rate, but may occur at a significant rate.
