Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

According to column 1 of annex IX of REACH regulation, the stability in organic solvents and identity of relevant degradation products was not realized because the stability of the substance is not considered to be critical. In addition, the degradation products are known (Copper and N-guanylurea). According to ECHA R.7a guidance, in rare occasions, it is important to have information on the stability of a compound in organic solvent in order to ensure confidence in the results. A study of stability of a test compound in an organic solvent is normally undertaken to confirm whether the test compound is stable under these conditions for the duration of the storage of the organic solvent or extract containing the test substance. As CuGUN is never stored or used in organic solvent, information on stability in organic solvent is not necessary.
