Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The dissociaten constant of the substance is pKa 1 =9.6 ± 0.1 and pKa 2 =6.9 ± 0.1 at 20°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP study was conducted in accordance with the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 112.The dissociation constant was determined by potentiometric titration.

The measurement of the dissociation constant (pKa) of the test item at 20°C ± 1°C using a test item concentration of about 0.01 mol/l resulted in the following values at 20 °C (rounded mean values of a triple determination each): pKa 1 =9.6 ± 0.1; pKa 2 =6.9 ± 0.1
