First-aid measures

Inhalation: If breathing is difficult, remove casualty to fresh air and keep at rest in a comfortable position for breathing. Bring rapidly to a dispensary or alert the ambulance.

Ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water (only if the person is conscious), drink 2-4 cups of water and seek medical attention immediately.

Skin contact: Wash immediately with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Subsequently consult a doctor.

Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes open for 10 or 15 minutes under running water. Consult an ophthalmologist.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: all, without restrictions.

Hazardous termal decompocition products: carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide.

Special fire-fighting procedures: cool drums and metal parts with water spray.

Protection of fire-fighters: Use breathing apparatus and chemical resistant suit.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: In case of spillage / leakage / gas leakage should not reach pipes, drains or wells.

Clean-up methods:

Small spill and leak: waste washing with water and detergent.

Large spill and leak: Pick up mechanically and dispose of as waste.

Equipment Cleaning: wash with water.

Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.

Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Handling and storage

Handle the substance under strictly controlled conditions according to Article 18(4) of REACH Regulation. Rigorous containment should be achieved.

Handling: Preventive measures of protection (fire / explosion): avoid static discharges. Avoid dust formation.

Storage: Maximum storage temperature: 30 ° C; keep container tightly sealed. Store in a dry place. Store in a dark place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

The substance is used under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18(4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates.

Effectiveness:

The substance should be rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle and procedural and control technologies should be in place in order to minimize emissions and any resulting exposure as described under Article 18(4).

Personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used in cases of accidents and where waste is generated. The PPE may be also used as a good practice.

Disposal considerations
