C4 acrylate is a monomer used on-site with technical controls against release to the environment. We have proposed adaptation (by omission) of the data requirement for bioconcentration in aquatic organisms based on column two of Annex IX (testing need not be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the aquatic compartment is unlikely). Additional testing on vertebrate animals is not needed to refine the risk assessment.
