Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Oxooil LS9 was tested in an acute toxicity test with daphnids (Daphnia magna) under static conditions according to the guideline OECD 202, April 2004 (Acute Immobilisation test for Daphnia). Groups of twenty daphnids (2 replicates of 10 animals) were exposed to Water Accommodated Fractions (WAFs) of the test substance over a range of nominal loading rates of 1.0, 1.8, 3.2, 5.6, 10, 18, 32, 56 and 100 mg/l for 48 hours at a temperature of 21°C to 22ºC under static test conditions. The number of immobilised Daphnia was recorded after 24 and 48 hours. The 48-Hour EC50 for the test material to Daphnia magna was 12 mg/l nominal loading rate WAF, with 95% confidence limits of 11 - 13 mg/l loading rate WAF. The No Observed Effect Concentration was 5.6 mg/l nominal loading rate WAF.
