Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance is a fine powder. The particle size distribution is dependent on the exact composition of the UVCB substance, which varies from batch to batch. Data has been collected from 6 representative samples. The measurements were carried out using method ISO 13320:2009 Particle size analysis – Laser diffraction methods (measuring range 0.05-500 um).
The particle size fractions which are to be used in assessing the possible health effects resulting from inhalation of airborne particles in the workplace are:
- 100% of the particles were below the Inhalable fraction (<100um).
- depending on the sample analysed, the amount of particles in the Respirable fraction (<4um) varied from 0.82%. to 13.63%.
