Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A study evaluating the acute toxicity of Glycerides, C8-21 and C8-21-unsaturated, mono- and di-, acetates (CAS No. 97593-30-1) to aquatic invertebrates is available (Weyers, 2007). The test was conducted according to OECD Guideline 202, under GLP conditions. Daphnia magna was exposed to the test substance within a semi-static water regime at 21 ± 1°C. After 48 hours, abnormal swimming behaviour was observed in the treatment group but no immobilization was reported in treatment or control groups and therefore, the EL50 (48 h) was determined to be > 0.108 mg/L (measured concentration).

In conclusion, no effects were observed up to the maximum achievable concentration in test medium.
