Additional information

Key study: Read-across approach from analogue substance acetone oxime:

An acute toxicity was performed on the analogue substance acetone oxime by Geriger et al. 1990 with a similar method to OECD Guideline 203. 20 Fathead Minnows (Pimephales promelas) per groups were exposed to acetone oxime at 0 (control), 151, 232, 357, 549 and 844 mg/L for 96 hours. The LC50 (based on mortality) was determined to be 558 mg/l. Based on these results the read-across was applied and the LC50 (96h, based on mortality) for EAC3 in fish was determined to be 696.76 mg/L.
