Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
74.7 mg/L

Additional information

In a static GLP test according to EU method C.2 the acute toxicity of the substance to Daphnia magna was investigated (BASF 1998). After 48 hours no effects were observed in the highest nominal test concentration of 100 mg/L, indicating that the EC0 and EC50 are well above 100 mg/L. Due to the analytics, an arithmetic mean concentration of 74.7 mg/L was estimated. As already stated no effects occured in the highest concentration. Therefore, it is assumed that the substance is not harmful to aquatic invertebrates. Due to product saftey reasons the measured arithmetic mean value of 74.7 mg/L is used for the subsequent hazard assessment of the substance.
