No aquatic toxicity data are available for [3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]urea (CAS 23779-32-0) Data were optained from a structural related substance. The registered substance, [3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]urea (CAS 23779-32-0) contain an ureidopropyl silane group with a ethoxy moiety, respectively. The read across substance ureidopropyltrialkoxysilane, mixed methoxy and ethoxy esters (CAS 116912-64-2) is a multi-constituent substance, with the submission substance being one of the constituents. According to Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 classification criteria, no classification is required.Short-term toxicity data available on the read across substance indicate no toxic effects, all EC/LC50are in excess of 100 mg/l. The registered substance is readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
