Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The relative density compared to water at 4 °C is DR 4 = 1.88

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.88

Additional information

The relative density of the test substance was determined according to OECD guideline 109. The density of the test substance (powder) was measured at room temperature using the gas comparison pycnometer. The volume of the test substance was measured in air. The density was calculated based on one mass measurement after concluding the volume measurement. Under the test conditions, the relative density was determined to be 1.88 (Dr. J. Franke, 2002).
