Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Mp range: -73.0 to -70 °C at 1024 ±1 hPa, EU Method A.1 - Thermal Analysis Method, consilab GFA mbH 2015

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The melting/freezing temperature was determined using EU Method A.1 and Differential Scanning Calorimetry. During the heating phase a distinct endothermic effect was observed in the temperature range of -70 to -50 °C, which can be associated with the melting of the test item. As the onset temperatures in both tests deviate by more than 0.5 K from their mean value of 71.81 °C, the test substance has a melting range of -73 to -70 °C at 1024.2 hPa.
