Description of key information

Additional information

This substance has high water solubility, a moderate vapor pressure, and low log Kow. The substance has a low potential for adsorption to soil or sediments or bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms, and a moderate potential to volatilize from water or soil to the atmosphere. Due to the presence of a carbonyl functional group, the compound is susceptible to hydrolysis, particularly under alkaline conditions. The compound meets the criteria of ready biodegradability in an OECD 301F Manometric Respirometry test, so biodegradation in the environment is expected. Upon release to the atmosphere the compound will react with hydroxyl radicals with a predicted half-life of 2.5 days.
