PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

The substanced achieved > 72% biodegradation based upon CO2 evolution in an enhanced ready biodegradation study and is therefore not P or vP. The substance also has a log Kow of 1.6 and is therefore not expected to be B or vB.

The substance is not a CMR and there is no evidence that it meets any other of the T criteria for human health effects. Acute freshwater aquatic EC/LC50 and NOEC values are all > 100 mg/L. Therefore it is very unlikley that long-term EC10 or NOEC values in fresh water or marine organisms would meet the criteria for T.
