Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance is a mixture of two organic salts.

2-Hydroxyethylammonium-hydrogensulfit dissociates into an inorganic sulphite part and an organic (2 -hydroxyethyl) ammonium counterpart. As the inorganic part does not need to be determined, 2-aminoethanol (CAS 141 -43 -5) is a suitable read-across substance for 2-hydroxyethylammonium-hydrogensulfit. N-methyl-2-hydroxyethylammonium sulphite dissociates into an inorganic sulphite part and an organic N-methyl-2 -hydroxyethylammonium counterpart. As the inorganic part does not need to be determined N-methylethanolamin (CAS 109 -83 -1) is a suitable read-across substance for N-methyl-2 -hydroxyethylammonium sulphite.
