The pyrophoric properties of the substance were examined according to the relevant EU guideline.
The examined sample did not exert any pyrophoric properties under the conditions of the test.
Justification for classification or non-classification
As the substance has a flash point > 60°C, a classification as a flammable liquid is not required according to the criteria described in section 2.6.2.1. of Annex I to EU Regulation No. 1272/2008 on the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP).
Likewise, classification for flammability is not required according to Directive 67/548/EEC (Dangerous Substances Directive) for substances having a flash point > 55°C.
