Additional information

Adsorption/Desorption:

The adsorption test (Geffke_2005) performed according to OECD 121 and GLP was rated with RL=1 (reliable without restrictions) and used as key study. The estimated log Koc of Sym White377 is 1.96. According to the McCall classification scheme of soil mobility potential, a Koc of 91 indicates that SymWhite 377 has a high mobility in soil.

Volatilisation:

Based on the vapour pressure of the substance (6.5*10-6Pa (20°C)), SymWhite® 377 can safely be considered as non-volatile. In addition, a calculation of Henry`s law constant at 3.65*10-7Pa m³/mol on the basis of the experimental determination of water solubility and vapour pressure at 20°C, indicates that the substance does not volatilize from water or wet surfaces.

Distribution modelling:

The distribution of the substance SymWhite® 377 between the environmental compartments air, soil and water is as follows: soil 76.1 %, sediment 10.2 %, water 13.7%, and air 0.000123 %.
