Description of key information

Experimental determination of boiling temperature of the test item: partial boiling with decomposition at approximately 269°C (542 K) at 99.7 kPa

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
269 °C

Additional information

The determination was carried out by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), according to Method A2 Boiling Temperature of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008, Method 103 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995 and GLP.No deviations from the Guidelines were observed during the test.

The temperature accuracy of the DSC was assessed using a reference standard. According to results obtained with the reference standard, the DSC was therefore considered acceptable for use.
