Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Three studies are available assessing the short-term toxicity to fish. All studies ran over a test period of 96 hours under static test conditions. In the first one, using rainbow trout as test organism, the LC50 was estimated to be above the highest test concentration of 1000 mg test substance/litre, based on nominal values. Analytical verification indicated a sufficient stability of the test substance over the entire test period. The second study, using zebra fish, reported a LC50 value of 1250 mg test substance/litre, also based on nominal values and without analytical determination of the test concentration. The third study was conducted as a limit test, also using zebra fish as the test organism. It was also conducted without analytical determination of the test substance concentration. Here, the LC50 was determined to be above the limit concentration of 500 mg/L. This value was regarded as the key value for the chemical safety assessment.
