Description of key information

Melting point was >300 °C for dried form. Freezing point range of commercial SDIPB: 15 -17 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
300 °C

Additional information

Freezing point range of commercial SDIPB: 15 -17 °C.

No melting was observed up to 300°C. The discolouration observed during the testing was suspected to be due to decomposition of the test material. The melting point was observed to be >300 °C. The melting/ freezing point was determined by EU method A.1.

Data from Huntsman, 2012 study.
