Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One study investigating the short-term toxicity of D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, butyl glycoside to aquatic invertebrates is available. In this key study performed according to OECD 202 and GLP, Daphnia magna was exposed to nominal concentrations of 1, 10 and 100 mg/L of a 51% solution in a semi-static test design. Analytical verification of the highest test substance concentration was achieved by TOC measurement and resulted in 88.7 - 104.4% recovery of TOC. No immobilisation was observed in any treatment, therefore an EC50 (48 h) value of > 100 mg/L was reported, equivalent to > 51 mg a.i./L, the highest concentration tested (Institut Technologique FCBA, 2010).
