The determination of the surface tension of FAT 20200/C was based on OECD Guideline No. 115: “Surface Tension of Aqueous Solutions” (1995) and on the EEC Directive 92/69, Part A, methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties, A5 “Surface Tension”, EEC Publication No. L383, December 1992. The surface tension of FAT 20200/C was determined to be: 46.529 mN/m at room temperature ca 20 °C. The variation of specification factor was 0.004748 mN/m.

Conclusions:
The surface tension of FAT 20200/C was determined to be 46.529 mN/m.
Executive summary:

The determination of the surface tension of Acid Violet 109 was based on OECD Guideline No. 115 using plate method. Based on the findings of the study, the surface tension of FAT 20200/C was determined to be 46.529 mN/m at room temperature ca 20 °C. The variation of specification factor was 0.004748 mN/m.
