1-methylpyridinium chloride is very soluble in water.
Based on the practical experience of the registrant with the substance as an aqueous solution, it is assumed that the value reported by Price et al does not reflect the maximum water solubility. Therefore 500 g/L is selected as as the lower limit for water solubility. However the true value could be significantly higher.
