The results indicate no adverse effects on hatchability of eggs and survival, mean total length, and average weight of fry at 30 days post hatch during all exposures to zeolite A.
The concentrations of test materials in suspension varied considerably during the exposure period, reflecting the difficulty of maintaining uniform suspensions of these particulates. Highest zeolite concentrations varied from 33 to 182 mg/L with a mean of 87 mg/L. Thus, the observed NOEC was determined to be greater than this value.
