Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the active ingredient monoethanolamine thioglycolate has been determined to be 4.8 x 10exp-2 Pa at 25 °C.
Executive summary:

An attempt was made to determine the vapour pressure of the test material using the isoteniscope method. This attempt was unsuccessful, it appears that the water removed under the vaccuum conditions, then the remaining monoethanolamine thioglycolate decomposed without boiling. Therefore, the vapour pressure balance method were used to determine the Vp of monoethanolamine thioglycolate (active ingredient).

Additional information

The sequence of ten runs was started after a sample of the test material had been held under vaccum for 215.75 h. Temperature and pressure readings were taken between 25 and 35°C with one hour dwell at 25 °C between the runs.
