Additional information

Acesulfam K is a odourless, white crystalline powder.

It decomposes before melting or boiling. Decomposition temperature was observed as an exotherm process at ca. 210 °C.

The relative density of Acesulfam K at ambient temperature (20.4 °C) ist 1.86 (compared to water at 4°C).

The median particle size L50 of Acesulfam K deduced from the particle size distributions is 25.04 µm. The particle sizes L10 and L90 of the test item deduced from the particle size distribution is 3.07 µm and 89.58 µm, respectively. The vapur pressure of acesulfam K was determined as 0.291 Pa, at 25 °C by the modified Grain method.

The partition corfficint of Acesulfam K is -2.35 and its watersolubility is 237 g/L at 20 °C.

Acesulfam K is not highly flammable solid and ne self-ignition temperature was observed up to the maximum test temperature of 401 °C.
